Individual Giving Officer

Remote position with preference for New York, NY or Boston, MA metro areas.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Individual Giving Officer (IGO) will play a key role on the Foundation’s development team. Working closely with all Foundation staff, the IGO will assume the crucial responsibility of identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding potential donors with the capacity to contribute $25,000 or more to the Hertz Foundation. Throughout the qualification process, the IGO will be guided and supervised by the CDO, working together to construct a targeted annual and major gift portfolio. The incumbent will be tasked with formulating effective fundraising strategies, managing a specialized portfolio focused on key markets, and creating personalized solicitation plans that secure both annual and major gifts aligned with the Foundation’s fundraising priorities.
