The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks a Director of Institutional Giving to oversee and grow all foundation, corporate, union, government and other institutional giving for the Entertainment Community Fund. This role is responsible for an annual goal as well as restricted funding for campaigns and special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Institutional Giving will set annual institutional giving goals and collaborate with colleagues throughout the organization to manage and grow existing grants, identify and pursue new funding opportunities, and build the institutional giving portfolio. This position supervises a full-time Institutional Giving Associate and reports directly to the Managing Director of Advancement.
Managing a robust portfolio of institutional donors, the Director of Institutional Giving will develop an institutional giving strategy, establish annual institutional giving projections, maintain strong relationships and provide regular communication and stewardship, ensure timely and accurate reporting to institutional funders, develop and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for institutional grants and funding opportunities, prepare compelling materials that lead to new or continuing support from funding institutions, conduct research on prospective institutional donors to inform cultivation and request strategies, and uphold the mission, vision and values of the Entertainment Community Fund within the office and in all external interactions.

This is a full-time salaried position based in the Entertainment Community Fund’s National Headquarters Office in Times Square, New York City.
