C4RJ Director of Development

Position Details

About Communities for Restorative Justice Communities for

Restorative Justice (C4RJ), a Massachusetts-based nonprofit

and leader in the restorative justice field, seeks a Director of

Development. The successful candidate will play a key role in

helping C4RJ realize the full potential of its growth and impact

since launching 25 years ago.

In partnership with 26 police departments and 3 District Attorney offices, C4RJ facilitates a process that rebuilds trust in the wake of crime and offers a path forward to all those affected—the victim, the responsible party, their families, and their communities. Restorative justice is personal, powerful, and effective. Its core values of respect and accountability make it a sought-after alternative to the criminal justice system.

C4RJ has grown steadily over 25 years, geographically and in terms of the complexity of cases it handles through restorative justice. Our annual report chronicles this growth and the variety of our casework. For the latest report visit https://www.c4rj.org/about-us/publications.
