Cardinal Cushing Centers (CCC) is a nonprofit organization with locations in Hanover and Braintree, MA that supports students and adults with intellectual disabilities with the goal of improving the quality of life for each individual and helping them to become independent, productive, members of society.

The position reports to the Director of Development. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position, hybrid position. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s fundraising database, ensuring accurate and timely entry of gifts and daily reconciliation of contributions in partnership with the Finance Department.
  • Process and segment mailing lists for fundraising appeals, email communications, newsletters (including the Cushing Connector), and special events to support donor engagement strategies.
  • Accurately record all monetary and in-kind contributions and generate timely, personalized acknowledgment letters to ensure meaningful donor stewardship.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly donation reports, as well as event sponsorship and contribution reports, to support development strategy and leadership decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on year-end reconciliation processes and compile required documentation and reports to fulfill audit requests.
  • Support in-kind donation outreach efforts, including donor communication and follow-up calls.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support for special fundraising events, including tracking and reconciling donations and sponsorship commitments; preparing and issuing invoices and sponsorship agreements; managing attendee and sponsor communications (RSVP’s, confirmations, and follow-ups); supporting on-site event execution; and collaborating cross-departmentally to ensure accurate reporting, timely acknowledgment of gifts, and a seamless donor experience.
  • Assist with social media content and photography to help elevate the organization’s mission and enhance community engagement.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a support role in a nonprofit setting
