Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 Annually
Application Deadline: Mar 31, 2026
Children & Youth

WHO WE ARE

Bridge Over Troubled Waters (Bridge) is Boston's foremost agency providing age-appropriate services for homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth. Nowhere else in Boston can young adults take classes towards their GED, find a job with the assistance of a workforce developer, consult a professional counselor, or enter a cooperative apartment – all under the same roof. For over 50 years, Bridge has provided effective and innovative services to help youth avoid a lifetime of dependency on social services, guide youth towards self-sufficiency, and enable youth to transform their lives and build fulfilling, meaningful futures.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations will advance Bridge’s philanthropic strategy by strengthening institutional support, ensuring existing funders remain connected to Bridge’s impact, and expanding how corporate partners participate in and support the organization’s work. The position collaborates closely across the organization and contributes to a more coordinated, visible, and sustainable approach to institutional fundraising. Specifically, this team member will:

Steward and Strengthen Institutional Relationships

  • Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders, including overseeing stewardship, renewals, reporting coordination, and ongoing engagement for a high volume of annual grants
  • Maintain a structured grants and reports calendar and ensure consistent, proactive communication with funders
  • Partner with leadership on cultivation strategy, site visits, and long-term relationship planning
  • Identify opportunities to deepen funder engagement beyond financial support
  • Work closely with program teams to align partnership opportunities with youth needs and program capacity
  • Coordinate with communications staff to support storytelling and partner-facing materials
  • Partner with development leadership on fundraising strategy and relationship management
  • Gather data and program insights needed for funder communications and reporting

Build and Activate Corporate Partnerships

  • Design and implement a corporate engagement strategy aligned with Bridge’s strategic plan
  • Cultivate new corporate relationships through outreach, meetings, and community presence
  • Re-engage lapsed partners and expand involvement from existing supporters
  • Develop tailored partnership opportunities including volunteer programs, sponsorships, and in-kind giving
  • Create meaningful on-site and off-site volunteer experiences in partnership with program staff
  • Integrate volunteerism as a cultivation pathway into broader fundraising strategy
  • Formalize processes for corporate in-kind contributions and partnership activation
  • Represent Bridge at corporate meetings, volunteer events, and community networking opportunities
  • Ensure volunteer and partner experiences reflect Bridge’s mission and values

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You may be the right candidate if you are:

  • An experienced institutional fundraising professional. You bring 5–8+ years managing foundation and/or corporate donors, including stewardship and renewals, and communicate clearly and persuasively in writing and conversation.
  • A relationship-driven fundraiser who builds trust and sustains long-term partnerships. You represent the organization confidently and proactively cultivate partners across meetings, events, and community settings.
  • An entrepreneurial and creative builder. You steward an established portfolio while identifying new ways to engage corporate partners through thoughtful, mission-aligned approaches.
  • A collaborative partner who works effectively across teams. You gather information, align priorities, and move projects forward while respecting program expertise and organizational dynamics.
  • An organized and accountable operator. You manage multiple deadlines and relationships simultaneously and use CRM systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud or similar tools) to track activity and maintain strong follow-through.
  • A proactive, hands-on contributor. You are solutions-oriented and willing to step in wherever needed to support partners, programs, and events.
  • A values-driven team member committed to supporting youth experiencing homelessness. You approach your work with empathy and respect, collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners, and are motivated by connecting people to meaningful impact.
