Cambridge Math Circle is seeking a Development Manager (part-time, contractor) to spearhead CMC’s fundraising growth. This is a critical, part-time role requiring a strategic thinker who can identify, cultivate, and secure new sources of revenue, and establish relationships with new donors, partners and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing in $150-$200k in new, non-event revenue within their first year.
Key Responsibilities:
● Grant Development: Identify, research, and write high-impact proposals for foundations and government entities.
● Donor Stewardship: Create personalized recognition plans to ensure high donor retention, long-term support, and growth in gifts.
● Board Engagement: Collaborate with Fundraising Sub-Committee board members to leverage their networks for warm introductions to potential funders.
Qualifications:
● Passion for math education, community engagement, and empowering students from backgrounds historically underrepresented in STEM fields.
● Proven track record of successful fundraising and revenue generation.
